WTC Training and Capacity Building Program at Nagar Palika Office in Haridwar

Today ‘WTC training and capacity building program’ was conducted at Nagar palika office, Shivalik nagar, Haridwar for 96 sanitation workers from near by communities.

Our trainer from GIWA informed them about safety tools to be used in work, how to take care of their personal safety, hygiene and health. She also spread awareness among them about water, sanitation and hygiene and how each individual should act responsibly to save our nature, environment and also our community.

Rajiv Sharma, Chairman of Nagar Palika, Shivalik Nagar presented dignity kits for all the sanitation workers who attended this training.

We are also very glad to share that we are going to celebrate our upcoming ‘World Toilet Day’ event on November 19th which is a special day for our GIWA as it is an important day for one of our WASH ‘s motto ‘Sanitation’.
