Famed American music artist, Macklemore, his beloved fiancée, Tricia, and dignitaries including Isaac Tigrett, Founder of the Hard Rock Café and House of Blues, joined Pujya Swamiji for a Global Interfaith WASH Alliance (GIWA) Water Blessing Ceremony, with prayers for improved and accessible water, sanitation and hygiene for all. The majority of child deaths worldwide can be attributed to the lack of good water, sanitation and hygiene, making this cause so very crucial.
Later in the evening, a wonderful conversation was had about GIWA’s Ganga Rights Movement, which is bringing together the people of the world to help ensure the clean and green future of India’s National River, the River Ganga, which is the lifeline for some 500 million people and countless species of plants and wildlife.
