PARD Annual Forum on Religion & Sustainable Development

Ganga Nandiniji, Director of Project Implementation, Integration & Communication for the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance, spent an incredible few days in Bali, Indonesia participating in the PARD Annual Forum on Religion & Sustainable Development.  It was a joy and an honour for Ganga Nandiniji to share her thoughts, suggestions and ask questions during many of the sessions, as well as present the work that Global Interfaith WASH Alliance and Parmarth Niketan are doing for climate action and sustainability, especially to mitigate climate crisis and natural disasters. She was glad to share the great vision, mission and leadership that drives the efforts that we make with Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji & Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji’s inspiration and divine example.

Ganga Nandiniji was part of the 30 KAICIID Fellows selected from Asia for a unique alumni meeting & training on policy engagement, where they had the chance to interact with policymakers to discuss relevant regional policy affairs and meet the new Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General of KAICIID.

Both of these events took place alongside the G20 and R20 also taking place in Bali at the same time, so was a beautiful opportunity to be part of these conversations and dialogue about the critical role of faith to lead the way in climate action.
