We were so glad to organise a beautiful Medical Camp at Veerbhadra Nagar, Rishikesh with the support and partnership of Harpic World Toilet College reaching healthcare to marginalised communities.
The GIWA team and volunteers welcomed Dr.Avneesh and a team of five dentists from Seema Dental College & Hospital Dr. Sakhet Motiyan from Yamkeshwar who attended the patients.
Dental, eye and general check up was conducted for the people in the community and free medicines were given to those in need. A free blood test was also offered to those in need. Nearly 200 hundred patients were helped in just a few short hours.
We had a whole bunch of children who curiously attended the medical camp seeking care for their tooth. Everyone was presented with a tooth brush and given advice on how to take care of their teeth.
With much satisfaction and a plan to visit another nearby community, GIWA completed today’s camp.
