GIWA is working with the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee in the ‘Nation wide Campaign on Routine Immunization, Climate Change and Environment Sustainability’ initiated by UNICEF. Guru Harkrishnan Public School students have joined us to raise awareness about Immunization in their localities and among their family members and friends circle. They conducted a street show yesterday about the same.
Teaching and providing knowledge from books to students is just not enough. Involving them in service initiatives and giving them practical knowledge about the problems, strategies to solve them, involving them in solutions are also equally important.
We #GIWA have always worked with youngsters by involving them in our team by creating teen clubs in communities and providing them guidance and support making them a bridge between us and their community members.
Today, students of Gurudwara Public School conducted an amazing Nukkad Naatak (street show) in which they shared the information about immunization, benefits of immunization, age group, etc. which was enjoyed by many. We hope our joint efforts will be fruitful and bring a massive change in our communities thus creating strong and healthy generations and a healthy country.
