The journey of breaking the social stigmas around menstruation must end soon. Another beautiful session of menstrual hygiene management was organised for teenage girls. This session was held in an open space had an aim to make every girl comfortable in society and not feel ashamed of periods. Being from socio-economically disadvantaged communities, they were taught how to use a sanitary napkins during their cycle and also were demonstrated mooncatchers pad, especially useful for the girls who didn’t have access to any hygienic pads. The session finally concluded with a sense of comfort and happiness on the faces of all the girls as they could now easily open up and talk about this existing stigma and at the same time they learned a lot about menstrual hygiene that would definitely help them lead healthy lives ahead.
