Meeting with Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modiji

GIWA’s Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji, and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati ji were invited to a high-level, special community reception, hosted by the Hon’ble Ambassador of India in Washington DC, Dr Navtej Sarnaji in honour of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi ji’s visit to the United States.

During the reception, in addition to meeting Shri Narendra Modia Modiji, Pujya Swamiji and Sadhvi Bhagawatiji also met with the Hon’ble Ambassador of India, Shri Navtej Sarnaji and other diplomats and cordially invited them home to the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance’s Rishikesh Secretariat,  on the banks of the River Ganga Ganga, in the lap of the Himalayas.

Pujya Swamiji and Sadhvi Bhagawatiji discussed the progress of the Global Interfaith Alliance’s Swachhta Kranti campaign, which is inspiring the masses to embrace, build and use toilets in support of the Swachh Bharat Mission. They also passed on other key suggestions and ideas for the Clean Ganga Mission.
