GIWA’s Waterschool conducted a WASH training session at two Government High Schools in Dhalwala, Rishikesh, creating awareness amongst the students about water, sanitation and hygiene and teaching these future leaders and decision-makers about the importance of saving our environment.

Parmarth Niketan, which means “an abode dedicated to the welfare of all,” was founded in 1942 on the beautiful banks of the River Ganga, not far from where the sparkling river first exits the emerald green Himalayas.
