Sanitation Workers Capacity Program at GIWA’s World Toilet College in Uttarkashi

Our Sanitation Workers Capacity Program was conducted by GIWA’s World Toilet College at Uttarkashi for 5 days, in which many sanitation workers were trained on sanitation, challenges faced by a sanitation worker, usage of tools, awareness about products etc. Harpic India and Dettol India were the chief sponsors of this training.

The Global Interfaith WASH Alliance’s Secretariat is located in the beautiful confines of Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh. Parmarth Niketan, which means “an abode dedicated to the welfare of all,” was founded in 1942 on the beautiful banks of the River Ganga, not far from where the sparkling river first exits the emerald green Himalayas.
