On World Water Day, Sadhvi Bhagawati, Secretary-General of the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance, joined a Walk for Water on the famous Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California organized by the Thirst Project, an organization founded by Los Angeles youth to help bring clean water to people around the world. For the walk, all the participants carried large water cans for two miles, demonstrating how so much of the world lives — having to walk many miles to collect water for their daily needs. She had fruitful conversations with Seth Maxwell, the CEO and Evan Wesley regarding the work they are doing with youth across the United States and also regarding the projects they are doing in India and Africa. She congratulated them on their vision as youth to use their time, talent and technology to help serve the world and she offered that our Global Interfaith WASH Alliance is always there to help them in their efforts and especially to help them expand and deepen their work in India.
