Lifeskills are social and psychological abilities that enable humans to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of life. For students, Lifeskills improves their listening, reading, writing and communication skills. If given effectively, it improves problem solving skills, develop interpersonal skills, creates ability to think out of the box, builds confidence, determination, creates positivity & cooperation skills.
More important, lifeskills teaches teenagers to socialize, identify their dreams, realise how to achieve it, identify the obstacles lying on the way and ways to get rid of them, to take responsibility and create leadership qualities.
GIWA’s “PrayaSapna” Phase 3 Life Skill Education training does all the above and is a blessing to teenagers from underprivileged backgrounds to achieve their dreams. PrayaSapna’s 3 day LSE training started today at Parmarth Niketan with the blessings and encouragement of HH Pujya Swamiji and Sadhviji and with the support of our beloved Director Ganga Nandiniji. Over 30 peer educators from our GIWA Teen club at Mayakund, Kali ki dhal, Govind Nagar attended this 3 day residential training.
