Meeting with Hon’ble Vice President of Nepal

GIWA Co-Founder and Co-Chair, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji met recently with the Hon’ble Vice President of Nepal, Shri Parmanand Jha, at a special event in which they discussed the crucial and growing need for improved, healthy, and sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene for the people of Nepal, India and the world. They also discussed the importance of conserving Nepal’s and India’s rivers, which are responsible for the nurturing of countless people and ecosystems as they wind their ways through the respective nations.

The Hon’ble Vice President (shown below holding a GIWA brochure which can be found within the publications section of this website) said that he was deeply impressed with the scope of the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance and its crucial mission of ensuring WASH for everyone everywhere through the power of togetherness.
