Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modiji, GIWA Co-Chair Meet

Global Interfaith WASH Alliance Co-Chair,  Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, and GIWA Secretary General,  Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji, met India’s Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, recently. Issues crucial to the futuree of India, such as sanitation for all and a revitalized River Ganga were discussed during the riveting encounter, which took place during the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s  historic first trip to the United States as Prime Minister.

Parmarth Niketan, which means “an abode dedicated to the welfare of all,” was founded in 1942 on the beautiful banks of the River Ganga, not far from where the sparkling river first exits the emerald green Himalayas.
