HH the Dalai Lama blessed the Global Intefaith WASH Alliance during a meeting with GIWA Co-Founder, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati.
It was by the hands of HH the Dalai Lama, Pujya Swamiji and other dignitaries that Ganga Action Parivar, GIWA’s co-founding agency, of which Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati is founder, was launched years before.
His Holiness said he was very pleased with GIWA’s mission to provide water, sanitation and hygiene for all, with the compassionate knowledge that it will serve to help save countless lives that would otherwise have been lost.
