A moving Water Blessing Ceremony was held recently by the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance at the Seventh Annual Worldwide Meeting on Human Values in Monterrey, Mexico. Leading the ceremony were HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, Co-Chair of the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance, Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji, Secretary-General of Global Interfaith WASH Alliance, and Bharat Mitra, Founder/President of Organic India.
During the ceremony, Pujya Swamiji also led a special prayer for the people affected by Hurricane Patricia, which was impacting Mexico at the time of this function. He reminded those in attendance that in order to help prevent disasters in the future, personal steps must also be taken to prevent or augment climate change.
