GIWA Conducts Health Camps to Help Communities

GIWA regularly conducts health camps to help communities monitor their health, address specific concerns such as women’s health and cataract-related eye care, and raise awareness about adopting a healthy lifestyle. In collaboration with DSF and Parmarth Niketan, we have organized multiple health and wellness camps promoting yoga and meditation as powerful tools for maintaining physical and mental well-being.

Breaking the myth that good health is only accessible to the privileged, GIWA has reached underserved and underprivileged communities by providing knowledge and practical guidance on yoga, hygiene, sanitation, illness prevention, first aid, balanced diet, nutrition, and regular exercise. These efforts have empowered many individuals to take charge of their health and well-being.
We strongly believe that our service has brought a positive change in both mindset and lifestyle within these communities. Sharing here are some images shot from a Health and Wellness Camp conducted on World Health Day 2022 in a nearby underprivileged community in Rishikesh.
