GIWA Attends Special Launch of the KAICIID Fellows Institutional Network (KFIN) in Kaula Lumpur

A special launch of the KAICIID Fellows Institutional Network (KFIN) was held in Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia from the 17-18th March.   The KAICIID Fellows Institutional Network aims to be the first collaborative global interreligious network of Religious Education and Formation Structures committed to imbedding and advancing Interreligious Dialogue skills at scale, institutionally throughout the world.

GIWA ‘s Director of Projects and Implementation and Communication Ms. Ganga Nandiniji was nominated and elected to represent the South East Asia Steering Committee for the KFIN. She was the only Hindu representative amongst the participating 37 representatives from across more than a dozen countries.  She shared how HH Param Pujya Swamiji and Pujya Sadhviji ‘s GIWA work to bridge education with action, our community outreach and our impact towards behaviour change as well as commitment to capacity building.

GIWA has worked together with KAICIID for several years now organising events and training at its Secretariat to promote and nurture Interreligious Dialogue in India and in the South East Asia region. GIWA was glad to become a member of the KAICIID Fellows Institutional Network.
