Recently, a new series of health camps was held over the course of four days in four separate locations, including Mayakund and Chandreshwar Nagar in Rishikesh, to provide these needed services, as well as to offer hygiene and sanitation guidance and to introduce yoga and meditation practices into the youth of the community. Over the course of the four days, hundreds of patients were seen, and sanitation and hygiene specialists of GIWA conducted 30-minute hygiene sessions to develop hygiene habits in children.
The four days series ended with a very special programme at the Parmarth Vidya Mandir School, Prakash Bharti that included inspiring words of motivation and support from Param Pujya Swamiji and Pujya Sadhviji, a comprehensive dental clinic led by Dr Himanshu Aran and his team of technicians and physicians from the Seema Dental College, complete digestive and diabetic screenings by Dr Vivek Sabharwal and Dr Priya Singh and a full bhandara service for the children of the school.
