Cleaning Up Rishikesh with GIWA

Today GIWA put in motion another successful cleanliness drive in Laxman Jhula area, on the banks of Mother Ganga.

With the involvement of the community members and the participation of the Parmath Niketan students and sevaks, we were able to remove over 400 kilograms of trash from the streets of Rishikesh.

All volunteers worked enthusiastically while singing Swachh Bharat slogans motivating the local population to participate and to keep their neighbourhood clean in the future.

These actions not only promote a cleaner city and a healthier community but also contribute to keeping our precious River Ganga clean.
