Our week of commemorating Earth Day continued yesterday as 100 children from several schools joined forces to clean up Swargashram, Rishikesh. During the event, they also made beautiful vows to protect the River Ganga while dipping Ganga Rakhis (bracelets) into the waters and tying them on their wrists. The day was also made more colourful by their grand procession, with hand-made posters and a divine Water Blessing Ceremony with HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, GIWA’s Co-Founder/Co-Chair.
