Today, we had the pleasure of hosting a group of devotees from Delhi and UP at our Kanwad Yatra Special Environmental Awareness and Medical Camp. After completing their Darshan at Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, they visited us seeking relief for their muscle pains from the long walk. Our team provided them with the necessary medicines.
Despite their discomfort, these incredible devotees took the Cleanliness Pledge with great enthusiasm! They committed to keeping our environment clean by avoiding single-use plastics, using garbage bins, and practicing sustainable lifestyles.
Their curiosity was piqued when they noticed the saplings we were preparing to gift our Cleanliness Ambassadors who diligently collect plastic waste along the route. Inspired by our mission and GIWA’s efforts in promoting tree plantation, they volunteered to plant a sapling each!
Together, we planted 3 beautiful plum and 4 Amla sapling along the route, adding to the green canopy and making our service even more fulfilling.
