The words of faith leaders Motivate, Persuade & enable
The Global Interfaith WASH Alliance (GIWA) is world’s first initiative that is engaging the planet’s many faiths as allies in efforts to create a world where every human being has access to safe drinking water, improved sanitation and proper hygiene.

REVOLUTION WITH FAITH
GIWA brings together Faith Leaders from Across India and the World
Faith forms a crucial foundation of global society, silently influencing personal choices ranging from the meals we eat, to the people we marry, to the places we live.
Given that over 83% of the world’s population (and 99% of India’s sizable population) is affiliated with a faith, the public sector, in and of itself, is a faith-based community. Says UNICEF, “With almost 5 billion people belonging to religious communities, their leaders’ potential for action is substantial.”
From our Worship for WASH Summits to large-scale public events and beyond, leaders and communities are now joining forces, and joining hands, to save lives and bring about a healthier, happier, more peaceful world.
